Distractible Introduce

The Distractible Podcast is a weekly pre-recorded podcast hosted by Mark Fischbach, Bob Muyskens, and Wade Barnes. It is considered a successor to the 3 Peens in a Podcast. The topics discussed by the trio are mainly focused on comedy, ranging from interesting events and daily happenings to exaggerated and unconventional scenarios.

The series was launched on both Apple Podcasts and Spotify on May 17, 2021, and has since expanded to other platforms like Deezer, Stitcher, YouTube, and Google Podcasts. On May 19, 2021, the podcast reached the top of the charts on both Apple Podcasts and Spotify, surpassing even The Joe Rogan Experience - one of the most popular podcasts in the world at that time. Mark's representatives considered this to be an impressive achievement, given that around 58% of his audience at the time used Spotify.

It is produced by Wood Elf, a podcast label under QCODE, which also produced Mark's scripted podcast, The Edge of Sleep. The podcast's artwork is created by Ryan Smallman, and the intro narrations are by Baldermort.

According to Mark, by choosing "hair" as the topic for the first segment, they wanted to show their audience that the conversation drives their engagement, not the subject itself. Each week, the trio competes against each other using arbitrary systems to determine the winner, who is declared the main host for the following week.

After its debut, Mark hosted a 45-minute long YouTube livestream to promote Distractible to his audience in an exaggerated and playful way, and he has regularly advertised the podcast in his subsequent Let's Plays.

On December 3, 2021, Mark, Bob, and Wade launched an online merchandise store themed around the various topics of Distractible. The store, powered by Shopify, offers clothing items, posters, and accessories. The podcast's merchandise is designed, manufactured, and shipped by Second City Prints.

On March 8, 2023, the Distractible Podcast signed a deal with Spotify's Stream, which also includes video versions of his podcasts, Distractible.
